Team Lead, Control and Monitoring

Report to Department Head of Loan Documentation. Act as a team leader role to head and manage Control and Monitoring Team of Loan Documentation Department.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Assume full management responsibility for all daily activities of the Control & Monitoring Team, including delivering Management Data Information reports / Credit Monitoring related reports, Document Inventory Control related process, Consumer / Commercial Credit Reference Agency (HKMA SPM IC-6 & IC-7) credit operation process, Fees collection, Full Cancellation credit application operation process, Business / Customer Credit Data maintenance, Core Banking projects, Limit and Collateral maintenance and Monitoring / Reporting system enhancement projects, Operation Policies / Guidelines update as well as participation in new products / project developments;
  • Implement control measures to minimize the operation risk of the team and monitor the performance of the team members to comply with the Bank’s policy and guidelines;
  • Lead the teams to meet service level agreed with Business or other Operational departments and service partners;
  • Ensure all operation activities of the team being complied with the requirements of established policies, guidelines, audit standards and regulators;
  • Participate in audit reviews and handle audit / external regulators’ enquires and regulatory requirement;
  • Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures with continual identification of improvement opportunities;
  • Mobilize resources to well support daily operations to ensure the activities running smoothly in a good quality;
  • Drive initiatives in the teams from time to time in order to increase the productivities with less resources;
  • Monitor the progress of product and system developments against targets;
  • Utilize skills in daily operations to lead the teams in change processes so as to strengthen staff adaptability;
  • Support Department Head and undertake the assigned roles and tasks.

    Incumbent Requirements :

    Degree holder or above with minimum 10 years in credit process of banking industry or Diploma / Advance Diploma with proven and solid relevant experience in credit administration of commercial banking areas (at least 15 years or above experience in credit administration and monitoring areas)

    Excellent knowledge on corporate financing products, credit / loan administration function, limit and collateral monitoring function and related regulatory requirement

    Proficiency in PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.

    Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

    Good team player and result-oriented

    Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese
