About the role

A fantastic opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Service Engineer to join our passionate, highly driven and successful Service Team.

Reporting to the Service Director you will have proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.

The focus of this role is to carry out the installation, maintenance, repairs and testing of Arjo range of products, such as our medical equipment including hospital beds, patient hoists and our range of alternating mattresses.

Your role will involve :

Key Responsibilities

  • Install systems to full working capacity and ensuring operators are aware of operating and emergency procedures;
  • Provide equipment on-site inspection, corrective & preventive maintenance activities & repair services;
  • Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Company Policy;
  • Prepare quotation, technical documentation and reports;
  • Promoted and developed Service contracts;
  • To be successful in this position, you will possess :

  • Diploma or above qualification in Mechanical and / or Electronics background;
  • Field experience preferably within the Healthcare or service related sector;
  • The ability to understand the customer’s needs and provide appropriate solutions;
  • Analytical skills in reviewing and identifying key actions to deliver continuous improvements;
  • Strong time management and punctuality skills;
  • Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills and ability;
  • Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools, soldering, power tools and test / inspection equipment;
  • Strong time management skills with an ability to meet company performance targets;
  • Have a passion for delivering excellent customer service interacting with staff and clients;
  • Computer literacy;
  • Be able to operate within the companies OH&S guidelines including adherence to infection control policies and procedures;
  • The ability to work without direct supervision yet within a team environment;
  • Be well presented and uphold the company's brand and guiding principles;
  • Have sensitivity to and be comfortable working in a Healthcare environment;
  • With driver’s license is an advantage
