We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager Fraud Support.
Support interface with Financial Crime Threat Mitigation and Fraud Operations across all Asia Pacific markets and regionally.
Identify emergent services, alternative data suppliers across Asia Pacific and champion the usage possibilities thereof in fraud mitigation.
Partner with Financial Crime Threat Mitigation to identify use cases including assessment of technology, process and customer impacts.
Liaise with country Credit Control Services to understand and address risks or concerns with emergent practices.
Facilitate and or support relationship management of credit bureaus and external data suppliers on a needs basis.
Partner with operations analytics to develop Key Performance Index based upon market practice.
Support Third Party Risk Management processes, monitoring and controls
Communicate a clear vision for that is aligned to the overall HSBC vision, Values and goals, and inspires and engages people to create an inclusive, high performing, customer centred culture.
Set expectations, share best practice and manage, monitor, coach and develop team leaders and others to ensure that they maximise their performance, meet the required standards, and continuously develop their capabilities and experience.
Lead and encourage constructive cross country and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and matrix management in action and challenging actions and behaviours that are not consistent with HSBCs diversity policy and or the best interests of the business and its customers.
Ensure fraud related, credit bureau and external data operational controls are in place and support optimization of use of data in credit processes.
Support processes, infrastructure and resources needed to deliver agreed team plans and targets, identifying and implementing improvements and collaborating with colleagues to maximise end to end integration, effectiveness and efficiency.
Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of a management information, analysis and reporting framework that supports and informs timely and effective business management and decision making at all levels.
Implement and monitor the application of policies, governance frameworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
Typically qualifications would include an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance or Risk Management, Information System or a related field.
Experience of project, system and process design, development and implementation,
Experience of leading a small team
Experience of managing multiple, complex projects.
Experience in banking project management
Has developed a satisfactory level of professional competence which helps to determine risk based solutions.
