As a Technical project leader you’ll be responsible for bringing the concept, defined by the Architect and Product Marketing, to a product ready for mass production and within the quality and BOM-cost targets.

What you’ll do

Work and design in alignment with business, development, and design colleagues based in the Hong Kong and Palo Alto, CA.

Design flows and interactions for the WiZ app that make it not just easy to use but will also knock users’ socks off with groundbreaking experiences.

Align with stakeholders on business requirements and team up to define the long-term strategy, presenting and propagating your designs and vision.

Initiate and guide UX research efforts within your team to get feedback from users, identify user needs and uncover new opportunities.

Facilitate and / or participate in concept workshops, design presentations, design sprints and other creative sessions.

Keeping yourself up to date within your area of expertise and implementing this knowledge into the organization to support the evolution and growth of the WiZ brand and its propositions.

What you'll need

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in UI / UX design or another design degree and equal through proven experience in UI / UX.

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in UI / UX design for mobile apps, preferably in a multi-national environment.

An outstanding portfolio demonstrating a variety of high-quality work.

You’re willing to be flexible and meet remotely with the Palo Alto and Hong Kong development teams daily. This could mean meeting outside of regular office hours.

You are a strong conceptual thinker, passionate about always putting user needs first.

You have worked with development teams on complex projects.

You are fluent in design and prototyping tools such as Axure and Figma.

Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written, and able to present to stakeholders at a very professional level.

You are a great communicator and presenter, and enjoy working in diverse, large, multi-national, multi-cultural, multi-stakeholder teams.
