Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Kinesiology of the School of Public Health (Ref.
516482), to commence as soon as possible for two to three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in epidemiology, kinesiology, exercise science, public health or related disciplines.
They should have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment, and good interpersonal, organizational, communication and time management skills.
They should be highly motivated, attentive to details, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
The appointee will utilize data from large-scale prospective cohorts (e.g. UK Biobank) to explore the relationships of genetic risk, and physical activity / fitness / sedentary behaviour with the risk of developing common chronic diseases.
