Due to the expansion of its Asia operations Linedata Services, we are now seeking for a Pre-Sales Consultant in joining our Sales team in Hong Kong Office.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
Prepare and perform demonstrations of Linedata's products, prepare and deliver marketing presentations.
Install, upgrade and maintain trial and demo environments.
Perform project management of trial and evaluation software at prospects.
For specific prospects, determine user requirements; identify potential gaps in functionality in products, document gaps and enhancements required.
Assist in identifying feasible solutions. Work closely with Product Management in Asia.
Assist in preparation of Sales Proposals and RFQ.
Handover newly signed clients to the implementation team with the information they require.
Where required, provide clients with training in the use of the products supplied, giving information on the full range of features and capabilities, including dealing with exceptional conditions.
Proactively help clients / prospects develop in-house knowledge and procedures to make their use of products effective.
Requirements
At least 3 years' experience working within a financial software company or asset management industry. Experience in a pre-sales is beneficial.
A quick learner and who can grasp a strong understanding of financial instruments and workflow.
Good interpersonal skills; conveys infectious enthusiasm; confident presenter.
A strong working knowledge of SQL and powershell scripting.
Demonstrate strong financial knowledge of the main financial asset classes (e.g. Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX) together with the business workflows of the front, middle and back office.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Good proficiency in Mandarin, English and Cantonese.
