Job Responsibility

Assisting the Country Controller, the incumbent is responsible for daily operation of the finance function of the The Hong Branch and the Trustee Entity.

Maintain general ledger and ensure accounting record is accurate

Responsible for regulatory reporting for The Hong Kong Branch

Oversees certain Head Office Reporting and ensures reports are prepared accurately

Review internal control results and remediate any discrepancy found

Provide management reporting and financial analytic support for management

Manage external audits and regulatory examinations

Ensure tax compliance and timely filing of tax returns

Closely monitor the changes in local GAAP, law and regulations, regulatory guidelines and ensure compliance

Refresh Finance standard operation procedures

Implement Corporate Accounting Policy and Procedures

Improve workflow, enhance efficiency and execute good cost control initiatives

Supervise outsourced finance activities

Handle ad-hoc assignments or projects independently

Requirements

Professional accounting qualification with 8 years of experience in banking or financial institutions

Hands-on experience in handling regulatory reporting, taxation, audit and examination

Excellent Excel skill, good general PC knowledge

Good communication skill

Result-oriented

Able to work under pressure
