The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is launching an project aimed at driving changes in the educational ecosystem of the Hong Kong secondary schools towards the incorporation of AI components.
The project is led by the Faculties of Engineering and Education with funding support from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.
It is a three year (2019-2022) project with the possibility to further extension upon successful completion. The project will undertake the development and implementation of a novel and comprehensive AI curriculum for secondary forms, with provisions to support hands-on learning on an e-platform.
The project will also engage selected secondary schools and teachers to effectively implement the AI curriculum. A wide diversity of public education events will be offered to engage the public and enhance their understanding towards AI technologies.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years commencing November 2019, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
