Duties
The appointee will be responsible for leading and supervising in-house building maintenance teams and out-sourced contractors in planning, coordinating and monitoring routine maintenance works, improvement projects and other matters related to the repair and maintenance of building fabrics.
Main duties include to :
Overtime work and shift duties (including night shift) may be required.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree / Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Building Surveying / Building Studies / Civil Engineering or related disciplines, with a valid safety training course certificate (commonly known as Green Card ), and at least 10 years’ hands-on experience in building maintenance / construction / direct labour and on-site supervision.
capability to supervise in-house and out-sourced works; and ability to work independently under pressure against tight schedules are required.
Preference will be given to candidates with substantial working experience in higher education institutions.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Technical Officer.
