Swire Foods group invests in and manages the development of various new food categories through its holding company Swire Foods Holdings Limited.
The group manufactures, packages and distributes a variety of foodstuffs and beverage products under Swire Foods Trading (China), Taikoo Sugar, Swire MP Foods and Chongqing New Qinyuan Bakery.
Swire Foods Trading (China) distributes food products under the Taikoo brand and other brands in Mainland China. The company is also an exclusive distributor of Mövenpick ice-cream products in Mainland China.
Iconic brand Taikoo Sugar was established by Swire in 1881 and refined sugar in Hong Kong for almost 90 years. Today, Taikoo Sugar packages and sells premium sugar products, branded and private label single-serve sachets of sugar, salt, pepper and tea to the retail and catering sectors in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
The company also has a well-established export business, and currently markets branded sugar products in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North America.

Job Duties :
Achieve company's budget sales targets and strategic objectives of designated region.
Lead, supervise and manage sales teams of the tasked region in Chinese mainland, implementing sales operations and ensuring compliance with proper company procedures
Oversee day to day sales operations of tasked region and ensuring smooth implementation with strict company procedure compliance.
Set up guidelines for sales team to deliver sales activities within the agreed budget
Manage customer commitments and obligations and ultimately to achieve assigned sales targets and company objectives.
Responsible for overall Distributor pool management of tasked region including necessary sourcing, prudent selection and appointment of distributor during initial stage of new business development (or whenever case applicable) as well as subsequent relationship management and driving of distributor performance.
Ensure proper preparation and record maintenance of distributor agreements, pricing matrix and distributor matrix, regular sales' function reports so as to ensure tight monitoring and tracking of sales progress and performance.
Responsible for proper and prudent planning of sales effort deployment within team and assigning responsibilities / duties accordingly.
This includes effective tracking and measuring of performance.
To be competent in analyzing related sales data and competitive market information and be methodical in approaching problems.
Job Requirement :
Bachelor’s Degree or above in Business or related disciplines.
Minimum 10 years of sales operations experience in retail FMCG industry with substantial years of team management role.
Strong sense and understanding of retail FMCG market dynamics and requirements.
Chinese mainland market knowledge and experience, especially in food, would be an advantage.
Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering sales strategies to meet company objectives.
Proven ability to oversee all sales and promotional activities execution.
Frequent travel to Chinese mainland is required.
Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
