Digital Product Creation (DPC) Director, 3D Production Services
As Director of Asia Digital Product Creation, the leader will play the role of overall Strategic Lead for 3D production services across Asia Product Supply.
The leader will work with VF leaders across Technology, Innovation, Product Supply, and the Brand Design and Development teams to support the VF Strategic Vision as well as lead key initiatives.
You will have ownership for the Asia DPC Project Management Office, DPC Apparel and DPC Footwear leaders and teams. The leader will be accountable for working with the product design and the technical teams to bring to market 3D assets.
In this role, you will be accountable for the Asia Digital Product Team’s ability to produce innovative and aesthetic digital products from visualization to other digital output.
This will require you to think both creatively and critically and build consensus with VF Brands and Business Partners on proposed design solutions and system infrastructure.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Oversee all aspects of Apparel and Footwear digital production from the initial phase to the time it’s published. Ensure the quality and timeliness of assets meets the needs of the brands.
Drive a business transformation to lead VF to develop the 3D virtualization business model through pilots, education and best practice and sharing experiences.
Partner with global Product Development teams to understand the product, fit requirements, development calendar to develop the appropriate 3D virtual business model to fit product and brand’s structure.
The goal is to get better designs / better decision making; to reduce the physical protos, and reduce the calendar timelinesTo build a strategic vision and develop proof of concepts.
Identify, own & monitor pilot project status ensuring timelines and KPIs are met. Serve as a subject matter expert and recommend 3D best practices per the brand / product types.
Managerial and Leadership skills to deliver the 3D virtual projects and manage a PMO.Serve as an Enterprise Leader and Partner with the Digital Materials team to develop a fabric and material library for virtualization projects.
Guide the team and build presentations for VF & our brand's front end leaders on 3D technology capabilities.Build a world class team by ensuring that the Digital Product Creation Footwear and Apparel teams support the brands by providing technical training and coaching to vendors on 3D virtual project transitions.
Engage merchandising; pattern teams and factories to develop and implement 3D virtualization technology Assist brands to develop the correct fit reference guide with 3D technology.
Work with the PMO Leader and respective teams to create a smooth workflow and ensure that resources are managed and deadline’s achieved.
Qualification & Requirements :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience requiredProduct design or digital product related background with 10+ year experiencesMinimum of 5 years of experience managing a digital team Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates ability to implement effective, user-
centered solutions and drive process improvements.Knowledgeable about 3D tools & computerized modeling fundamentals : Clo, Browzwear, Maya, 3D MAX, Modo, V-
ray, Substance design (or other texturing software), Adobe Photoshop, Solidworks, Rhino, Blender, After effect, VRED, Unreal engine, 3D WebGL, PLM, SketchfabExceptional communication skills : ability to listen, provide feedbackLeadership skillsAbility to evaluate, manage and assign resources to projects based on required skill mixA genuine interest in the latest design and technology developments in the industry.

Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with digital product creation specifically footwear, apparel or soft goods.
