Retail Banking and Wealth Management serves millions of customers worldwide with a complete range of banking and wealth management services to enable them to manage their finances and protect and build their financial futures.

It is a global business that brings together management responsibility for Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance and Asset Management with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Wealth Models Manager .

Principal responsibilities

  • Ensure that Wealth Models are fit for purpose, well governed and reviewed frequently
  • Ensure that Wealth models are best in class and are following industry best practice e.g. client risk profiling methods
  • Development of Model governance framework for Wealth models
  • Support the Product Risk Rating Centre of Reference function in development and maintenance of methodology templates and frameworks
  • Preparation of papers for governance bodies
  • Act as a model subject matter expert for Wealth models
  • Models inventory management
  • Manage aspects of Wealth Models to maximise revenue whilst still delivering on the customer values of fairness and simplicity
  • Effective communicator who sets good standards for others of personal accountability and proactivity - able to train and coach Wealth Management and model risk details to stakeholders
  • Requirement

  • Relevant professional qualifications - Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder or pursuing
  • Very strong mathematical and analytics skills
  • Post-Degree level education
  • Experience in investment products a must. Sound investment knowledge and ability to drive business decisions
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills - Both verbal and written
  • Culturally sensitive and understanding of local customer needs
  • Able to influence, engage and lead in a positive, inspiring manner
  • Excellent relationship building and senior stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel ,Access, PowerPoint and Word)
