Who we're looking for

We are looking for Assistant Manager, Finance Projects to join our WeLab Bank team.

What you will be doing

  • Reporting to Deputy Chief Financial Officer to manage strategic projects of the Bank and cross teams projects within Finance
  • Perform periodic reviews to monitor progress of ongoing initiatives, demonstrate good understanding of existing deficiencies of the business and process, and articulate the pain points and bottlenecks
  • Serve as a result-oriented project manager working across various functions with internal and external stakeholders to drive business and operational improvement efforts and to ensure the successful delivery of business objectives and strategy
  • Support the overall team management of the Finance and Treasury department
  • Provide support different finance teams for ad-hoc tasks
  • Act as one of the communication point with different teams across business units and / or Group functions
  • About you :

  • What is required and what we’re looking for :

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Economics, Management or equivalent disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy or equivalent project management experience in finance / technology company
  • Impeccable business judgment and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to distil complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans.
  • Precision and composure are key

  • Always focused on the bigger picture but also possesses an eagle eye for details
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Spoken and written fluency in English, Cantonese
  • Excellent in Excel and PowerPoint
