Who we're looking for
We are seeking an Operations Manager who will not back down in the face of challenge, who is ready to try new things and is ready to make history together with the rest of the team at Lalamove.
Life at Lalamove is fast-paced, thrilling, and we are constantly doing things no one has ever done before. Reporting to the Director of Driver Operations, this person will manage and drive cross-departmental projects and formulate strategies to amplify validated learnings across markets.
What you will be doing
Build and lead a process optimization team to improve Lalamove driver supply across all markets
Identify replicable best practices and opportunities for standardization
Identify gaps between Standard Operating Procedures and on ground execution for market enforcement
Continual Standard Operating Procedures and supporting tools development, improvement, training and coaching
Work with Product Team to automate standardized processes and improve process effectiveness and efficiency
Closely communicate and collaborate with representatives of different markets to facilitate understanding, initiatives planning and execution, learnings, implementation and enforcement to address local problems and opportunities
Who you are
Degree holder in any disciplines
At least 5 years of experience in a fast-moving environment or managing a driver community
Experience leading and motivating a small team
Experience growing sales and inventory performance across markets / regions preferred
Ability to communicate effectively across different regions
Analytical and data-driven, knowledge on spreadsheets and Tableau is preferred
Curious about facts, able to empathize with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, and willing to dig deep and understanding underlying root causes
Ability to champion new processes from plan to close
Positive, passionate, proactive, highly self-initiative and attentive to details
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Immediate availability is preferred
