Your Role

  • Support the daily operations in relation to new intermediary appointment, intermediary records, intermediary benefits, intermediary movement, contract maintenance, intermediary termination, orphan management and policy movement (collectively as intermediary records), with focus on Life business
  • Closely work with Life Operations Project team, IT and other stakeholders in assigned projects to provide user requirements, prepare test plan & test case, perform UAT and implement the projects successfully
  • Continuously contribute and implement improvement opportunities for intermediary system enhancement
  • Responsible for all intermediary financing related tasks, such as sign-on fee, advance / loan, bonuses, production validation, overriding adjustment, etc.
  • and ensure all payments are accurately paid

  • Responsible for intermediary daily compensation adjustment / payment (e.g. expense deduction items, bonuses, incentives, etc.
  • and ensure the payment items / manual adjustments in system are accurate

  • Ensure the accuracy of commission rate of new product, system generated adjustments and regular incentives / bonuses, as well as the calculation is compliant with payment rules and audit guidelines
  • Ensure distribution remuneration to be handled in accordance with Company and Regulatory requirements
  • Perform and maintain records of broker due diligence according to regulatory requirements
  • Prepare the management reports on regular and ad hoc basis
  • Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree holder with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Life insurance industry
  • Solid experience in intermediary administration for Life broker / IFA channel
  • Robust Life product knowledge is a strong advantage
  • Proven experience of active participation in projects of Life Intermediary Operations, such as business analysis, test planning, UAT, execution & implementation
  • Experience in Fund Investment Advisor setup and maintenance process is a plus
  • Strong analytical mind with good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (e.g. Words, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese Word Processing
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
