Position : Human Resources Officer Rank : Executive Assistant II Office : Human Resources Department, Hong Kong West Cluster Salary : HK$17,888 - HK$21,743 per month Key Responsibilities : 1.

Assist in one of the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources Department, such as Recruitment, Appointment, Remuneration & Benefits, Training Administration, Staff Communication and etc.

2. Maintain positive relationship with internal stakeholders. 3. Draft correspondence and handle enquiries. 4. Maintain and update database of human resources information system in an accurate and timely manner.

5. Assist in preparation of management reporting and statistical analysis. 6. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirement : 1. University Graduates; OR 2. Has obtained a Diploma in a specialized function, and has completed F.

  • 5 / S.5 with : (a) 5 subjects passed in HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language, or equivalent;
  • OR (b) 5 subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below : - Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language, and - Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / Attained in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects, or equivalent.

    Preferred Attributes : 1. Preferably with relevant qualifications in Human Resources / Business Administration / Management, etc.

    2. Working experience in human resources function, in particular leave management and employee compensation. Fresh graduate who are interested in developing career in HR may also be considered.

    3. Knowledge of HR policies, Employment Ordinance and other legislative requirements related to HR operation is highly preferable.

    4. Competence in working independently with minimal supervision. 5. Proficiency in PC applications , Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese Word Processing etc.

    6. Detail-minded, well organized and able to work under pressure. 7. Good communication and interpersonal skills. 8. Good command of English and Chinese.

    9. Proactive and self-motivated. Remarks : For Serving HA Staff 1. Serving staff who have completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent and have 2 years’ relevant experience within HA may also be considered.

    2. The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for up to 3 years depending on his / her existing employment terms.

    The offer of salary for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package / employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies.

    For External Applicants 3. Appointment will be on contract terms for up to 3 years. 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered subject to completion of contract with satisfactory performance.

    4. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA.
