Who we're looking for

We are seeking ambitious and outgoing individuals with a passion for luxury Asian design to join as Business + Operations Interns in our growing team.

Thrive in a fast-paced ecommerce start-up that aims to open the world to Asian lifestyle designs, you will join us ready to unleash your impressive set of commercial skills to achieve business and personal success.

What you will be doing

  • Identify, shape + close deals with top lifestyle product brand candidates across Asia.
  • Execute business strategy, planning, new brands outreach + onboarding, client presentation.
  • Pitch our platform + services to potential brands + customers.
  • Uphold exceptional in-house taste level, assortment quality control, partnership management.
  • Merchandising + Operations Track : support all the editorial content and copywriting on our website, research and reach out to new brands, work closely with our brand partners during onboarding / listing process and manage relationships. Responsibilities :

  • Hunt’ down new consumer / retail trends, designers, brands + products, onboard + gather materials with our brand partners, to ensure all details are collected
  • Implement innate passion for luxury retailing, and help us tell the world Asian designers’ stories
  • Take ownership of every new brand or client partnership as if it was your own business, by constantly improving brand engagement, customer conversion + business growth
  • Continuously help to process, update + analyse brand + product information to ensure data is accurately tracked across our internal systems
  • Corporate Finance + Data Analytics Track : support all the quantitative and analytical aspects of our vibrant start-up, including but not limited to fundraising / investor pitching, financial modelling, data analytics + merchandise finance, accounting and payments etc. Responsibilities

  • Support fundraising preparations with setting up data room, polishing investor pitch decks, preparing financial models
  • Stay current on luxury and e-commerce industry trends, perform competitive analysis, compile + analyse sales + margins, partner with Merchandising + using financial analysis and identifying key business levers to drive sales and margin growth
  • Assist senior management team to review + prepare pricing schedules, corporate budget + forecast + financial statements
  • Compile cost benefit analysis to support investment
  • Who you are

  • Undergraduate students in Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting degree programs strongly preferred
  • Highly responsible and take ownership of work assigned, willing to take on new challenges
  • Fluent written + verbal communications in English + Chinese
  • Strong business savvy + analytical skills, a pro-active, thoughtful, creative problem solver
  • Highly adaptable generalist + proven ability to learn quickly on-the-go, with an entrepreneurial, analytical + agile mindset, eager to roll-up sleeves + execute in-person
  • Cross-disciplinary passion intersecting between arts, design, business + e-commerce
  • Existing curiosity for global market trends, competition, brands, merchandising, pricing, sourcing, production, packaging, logistics across different product categories
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, creative, mostly remote working environment
  • Confident + articulate negotiating skills, comfortable with cold-calling, willing to do whatever it will take to make it work’
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel. Media editing software skills is a big plus
