Investigating the Use of Nanobubble Technology in Aquaculture

The project involves assessment of water disinfection technology on aquatic bacteria found in aquaculture settings and its effect on live fish.

More specifically it investigates the use of nanobubble technology in aquaculture. The overall objective of this project is to assess whether nanobubble technology can reduce the burden of pathogens on aquaculture farms during a disease outbreak and reduce the use and level of antimicrobials in the aquatic environment.


  • Manage a multi-national project to investigate water disinfection technology. Assist with purchasing, tracking of expenses / equipment, and human resources matters;
  • write reports; organize and monitor the project outcomes; and perform any other duties as assigned.


  • A PhD or a Master’s degree with at least 3 years’ relevant experience. Engineers are welcome to apply. Relevant experience in accounting and managing research projects;
  • good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good record keeping, time management and organizational skills;
  • attention to details; and a track record in project management are preferred.

    Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
