About the Position
We are currently hiring for an Institutional Sales and Trading role focused on Japanese market for Jane Street's Hong Kong office.
In this role, you will partner with our sales team in an effort to develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors in Japan as well as contribute to building our broader client business across the region.
Become a member of the team that both prospects new clients for Jane Street, as well as provides sales coverage for existing clients.
Help mapping institutional client landscape in Japan, including defining and prioritizing opportunities to engage within ETFs and Fixed Income (electronic and portfolio trading).
Work with other internal and external stakeholders building a successful Jane Street client franchise in Japan.
Maintain a thorough understanding of Jane Street’s trading expertise and our execution service’s features and benefits.
Work closely with marketing team on branding ideas and client appreciation events.
Source and maintain internal CRM system.
Experience with various client segments of ETF sales.
5+ years of experience in ETF sales or capital markets experience preferred.
Strong understanding of Japanese market as well as good level of ETF knowledge. Any previous trading / sales trading experience will be a plus.
Native to business level of Japanese language.
Organized and professional with a strong attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Powerpoint and Excel, Salesforce, and Bloomberg.
