From setting up a new business to managing the cash and trade flows of an established enterprise, the Business Banking team of Relationship Managers and Business Specialists provides a range of end-

to-end solutions designed to help small and large businesses reach their potential. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will : - Actively target high value prospective customers of SME / POE to earn the business’s primary banking relationship which includes, but not limited to, depository, transactional, paymentsa and lending needs.

  • Build up a strong network of referral sources to provide new-to-bank lead for sustainable channels of prospect pipeline.
  • Establish a good customer portfolio mainly through new customer acquisition, and grow the portfolio through cross-selling of various banking products.
  • Deliver a stellar customer experience by meeting and exceeding customer expectations through effective customer on-boarding, ensuring customer banking needs are being met, and fully representing the HSBC brand.
  • Protect the bank’s assets and reputation by performing due diligence on the prospect and their business.
  • Qualifications

    To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience with financial institutions including at least 2 year of proven and progressive business development experience.
  • Preference is given to those with extensive knowledge and proven sales success with comercial banking products and services.

    Exceptional cases could be considered for candidates with over 3 years of sales or customer-facing experience with proven excellent results.

  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed in developing relationships with high value prospects and in winning new business.
  • Desiring to take pressure and meet challeges.

  • Strong sales, organisational, analytical, negotiation, communication, teamwork and influencing skill.
  • Ability to identify, analyse, and communicate customer requirements; effectively deliver creative and flexible business solutions.
