    Role Type : Full Time, Permanent

    As an Associate Director, Research and Analysis, Hong Kong you will manage a portfolio of International Banking clients in Hong Kong to carry out the Research & Analysis function and provide leadership and guidance to junior members of the team both through formal and informal reporting lines.

    Research & Analysis is primarily responsible for identifying and effectively managing risks inherent in the client's business model and industry.

    Research & Analysis is also responsible for identifying and managing risks inherent in the client's capital and management structure and performance results.

    The primary activities of the role covers :

  • Prepare quality credit papers with proper evaluation of risks of clients, devise and propose well-structured risk mitigation strategies
  • Conduct financial analysis and industry research
  • Risk grade review events management
  • Liaise with clients, Relationship team and Risk on performance related matters, including covenant compliance and risk grade review events
  • Deal documentation
  • Portfolio analysis and monitoring to ensure controls are effective
  • About You

    To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following :

  • Tertiary qualification in finance or accounting is preferred
  • Strong experience in credit analysis (preferably mid-caps and large corps)
  • Knowledge in banking products and structures, loans, trade finance and global markets
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage
