Job Summary :

The Solutions Manager is responsible for providing both strategic and tactical leadership across multi-million dollar client engagements (Forbes 500 companies from various industries) while still keeping on top of day-to-day project activities with a focus on meeting client requirements, assuring overall quality of final deliverables and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

You will partner with Client and internal cross-functional teams of subject matter experts to understand, define and build effective solutions that generate measureable results.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic problem solver that thrives on being engaged at all levels of the assigned project. As a key point of contact for both the Client and internal teams, you will be a pivotal role in the success of every engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logically, confidently and consistently define engagement information needs, identify the relevant information sources, critical contents gaps and build a relevant and compelling fact-base consistent with the Client objectives
  • Lead the development of robust final Client solution deliverable, implementation scenarios and other strategic work for one or more clients simultaneously
  • Leverage capabilities of cross-functional teams to push the thinking to create superior, actionable client solutions that meet both clients’ needs and WLT’s commercial and functional business goals
  • Possess and demonstrate a full understanding of the client’s business / issues (and industry) and be viewed as the expert advisor both internally and externally
  • Actively takes part in new business pitch development and presentation delivery, accountable for the winning of additional business
  • Own the delivery of documented process mapping, due diligence reporting and detailed solutions design and concepts proposals
  • Ensure complete solution design information is delivered to change management to allow effective and timely mobilization of project and programme resources
  • Lead senior level client relationships and client workshop sessions as an articulate and effective host / presenter, further developing your trusted advisor status ’
  • Develop and drive project and action plans and ensure all deliverables are completed in the accurate and timely manner with regular progress communication
  • Be seen by the client as a key Williams Lea Tag reference point, holding accountability to the client for the quality of our work for assigned projects
  • Set the parameters to be achieved by the project team, providing clear direction, guidance and support to client project team members in order for the team to effectively deliver
  • Lead the development of Williams Lea Tag consulting methodologies and intellectual capabilities, championing internally continuous improvement in how we do things
  • Demonstrate ability to matrix manage multiple stakeholders operating within political internal and external environments
  • Assist as the trusted advisor for the Business Development team in the development of new business proposals, presenting new business pitches;
  • writing new business proposals and calculating the project budget and timings

  • Identify, re-work and lead process- and system improvement initiatives in close collaboration with internal key stakeholders
  • Required skills and experience

  • Has strong experience working in a similar consulting / project management type role or function (sales, supply chain, business management, solutions), with a number of those having been based in and working with clients in Asia
  • Has profound experience in (ideally qualification in) PMP or similar project management methodology
  • Has developed expertise in one or more industries (FMCG, pharma, technology, financial and professional services etc.)
  • Knowledge of diverse business matters such as Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Category Management etc.
  • Demonstrate technical / IT solutions awareness and ability to identify new technology and tools
  • Familiarity with a wide selection of business management software (ERP, CRM, etc.) and databases
  • Has the ability to identify key business problems and develop a thorough understanding of the clients business, competitors, end users, etc.
  • Possess the ability to think conceptually; to logically define information needs, drive fact to findings / insights, understand the client organization & issues, lead strategic thinking and create actionable solutions
  • Expertise in data collection and analysis necessary to complete engagement deliverables, including defining the information needs
  • Able to effectively manage a number of clients across multiple offerings
  • Commercial experience in budgeting, cost forecasting, value reporting, pricing
  • Demonstrate advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent English language skills is essential; Mandarin languages skills are preferred
