Major Duties :

  • To plan, implement and oversee facilities management of the campus including the building / minor repairs works, major and minor addition and alteration works;
  • To supervise and coordinate the work of clerical / supporting staff including logistics support for campus events and ad hoc activities to ensure the smooth operation and administration of the operation unit;
  • To manage the cleaning service, security staff, carpark arrangement and the daily operation of facilities management including procurement of furniture and equipment, and the related consumables;
  • d) To prepare / compile and review annual budget and environmental targets of the campus; and

    To liaise and collaborate with counterparts in the Council, various Government authorities, public utility companies and contractors.

    Requirements :

  • A recognised degree, preferably in Building Services Engineering, Facility Management, Housing Studies or Property Management;
  • b) At least 2 years’ post-degree relevant work experience in supervisory capacity;
  • c) Possess self-initiative and be able to work independently;
  • d) Good interpersonal, communication and administrative skills;
  • e) Good problem solving and time management skills; and

    f) Experience and solid knowledge in Estate / Facilities Management would be an advantage.

    Notes :

    1) The post is in the rank of Officer .

    2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written test in both English and Chinese.

    3) The appointee may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours.
