Department Description

Fidelity is a marketing lead organization. The Hong Kong marketing team is responsible for managing the Fidelity brand in accordance with global and regional guidelines, ensuring the Hong Kong market is leveraging and building on Fidelity's brand strength in the marketplace.

The marketing team is also responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy and activity for the various business channels, leading and working in close partnership with the distribution teams and regional marketing resources to develop and implement key initiatives that include above and below the line marketing activities

Purpose of the Role

The role is responsible executing the marketing program in Hong Kong to ensure a competitively strong, well-positioned brand, communication and marketing program is executed in the local market.

This will primarily involve partnering with distribution, understanding local market needs and developing a strategy for executing against those needs that is largely digitally based.

You will also partner with internal regional resources and local agencies where required to execute your marketing effort.

You will also be responsible to monitoring and measuring marketing effectiveness in your local market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the wholesale and workplace investing marketing program as outlined in marketing plan in support of our business targets and distribution relationships
  • Partner with the regional marketing teams to create offline and online marketing programs that benefit from regional support but are locally adapted where appropriate
  • Partner with various lines of business and functions to create, drive, monitor and improve offline and online marketing programs
  • Partner with digital team and Technnology to deliver implementation or enhancement of digital functions, tools, portals and platforms for business use or customer experience
  • In particular, utilise your proven digital marketing experience to lead strategising, formulation and execution of the digital elements of local marketing programs (display media and creative production) in line with best practises and governance standards
  • Achieve marketing KPIs for campaign effectiveness, brand equity and overall customer satisfaction
  • Manage the local requirements of any marketing automation tools and CRM programs
  • Support or manage all other marketing related activities as required by the head of marketing, such as content creation / curation, events and corporate communications
  • Work with Legal / Compliance / Business to ensure marketing materials and programs meet operational and regulatory requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications Required

  • At least 10+ years marketing experience in a managerial capacity
  • Strong experience effectively managing digital campaigns and a proven expertise in the field of digital marketing and corporate communications
  • Track record of managing measurable integrated marketing programs that encompass media planning and buying, content development, events and PR
  • Experience working in international, matrixed organisations is highly desirable
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholder groups
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Chinese (written and verbal) is essential
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and willing to accept new challenges and changes, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility
  • Well organized, efficient, reliable and capable of managing multiple complicated tasks and responsibilities at the same time
  • University qualification in marketing or business
