Markets Operations is responsible for driving every part of the trade lifecycle post execution. Its global teams manage settlement activity, risk and control, while ensuring the delivery of regulatory compliance and seamless operational client service across 60 countries.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Hierarchies Data Management. Principal responsibilities
Lead all the work streams for effective implementation of the Data Operating Model based on CDO guidance
Support in formulating a global Target Operating Model to enable the application of Risk Validation and Quality strategy or vision to a business or operation of the hierarchy data domain.
Work closely with the IT, Transformation and Future State Architecture teams to deliver the golden source data for downstream consumption
Represent the hierarchies data stream across all functional / regulatory and managerial reporting and provide constructive suggestions for building required solutions
Continuous improvement and potential reengineering for the Book opening and hierarchy management process in all businesses in GBM globally.
Support in compilation and circulation of periodic statistics and MI to senior management.
Manage the global team with resources across onshore and nea and off shore locations and build economies of scale by industrialising the existing fragmented processes
Drive global hierarchy changes working closely with Future State Architecture IT and Transformation teams
Provide guidance, instructions, directions and motivation to a the team to meet BAU and enhancements related objectives
Understand the infrastructure limitations, strategic vision and practical implementation of proposed working with various stakeholders to propose solutions to mitigate these
Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures, specifically FIM, Internal Controls, external audit points, issues raised by external regulators, any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.
Professional qualification or similar, such as MCT, CFA, MBA from a reputed University with at relevant post qualification experience preferably in Audit, Product Control or Risk
Extensive knowledge of Global markets front to back system infrastructure with a strong desire and ability to learn quickly
Experience of handling data domains for cross asset and cross functional requirements will be advantageous but not essential
Working knowledge of the Project lifecycle from Business stand point
Ability to drive reference data implementation projects and see it through to the end.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Managerial expertise to lead global team
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
