RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Part of Global Mobility Services team that provide support to the firm’s strategic mobility requirement. You would sit within the Reward Center of Excellence and partner closely with the HR Business Partner team to provide consultative end to end assignment and relocation support to divisions.

You would collaborate closely across HCM and the firm, both regionally and globally as well as external vendors to manage all aspects of global mobility (tax, immigration and relocation support).

  • Advising clients on mobility support for their mobile population to align with broader divisional goals.
  • Work collaboratively to recommend appropriate relocation support based on division’s mobility strategy and effective tax / employment structuring
  • Identify and proactively manage firm’s risk profile with respect to mobile individuals, collaborating across Federation divisions, such as Tax, Legal and Compliance, to ensure firm mitigates risks around tax, employment law, immigration and regulatory requirements
  • Become trusted adviser to assignees through proactive case management and being primary contact during all phases of assignment life cycle, including face to face briefings on firm relocation philosophy, management of relocation process, structuring of assignment and ongoing support during assignment
  • Drive cross divisional initiatives to enhance assignee experience and provide appropriate support to mobile employees
  • Direct initiatives to provide tax efficiencies for the firm / assignees based on move timing, employment structuring, etc whilst balancing risk profile and providing balanced advice to divisions
  • Partner with divisions on periodic metrics to aid future mobility strategy
  • Assist in enhancing operational efficiency and leveraging technology to streamline processes and automate tasks
  • Ensure firm’s operational risk mitigate be reviewing GMS payroll feeds and collaborating across functions and with vendors to ensure positive assignee experience
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 5 - 7 year’s experience in the mobility field, with international experience preferred
  • Outstanding client service and relationship management skills
  • Exposure to international tax; comfortable in discussing tax issues including issue identification and planning opportunities;
  • US Tax qualified or able to talk through mobility related US Tax impacts

  • Strong analytical skills and highly detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong team player with experience in working with teams in different time zones
  • A consultative approach when working with the business
  • Enthusiastic, positive and keen to learn and develop
  • Ability to appropriately manage confidential information
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint - strong Excel knowledge preferred
  • Sound judgement knowing when to escalate an issue combined with a willingness to be flexible and pragmatic when appropriate
