Philip Morris international (PMI) affiliate in Hong Kong is looking for a Brand Executive who will assist Brand Manager in all brand building activities, such as product development, research, development and execution of brand communication materials and engagement activities, and budget control in order to achieve our short and long term brand objectives.

As a Supervisor Territory Sales, you will be responsible for leading, guiding, motivating and developing a team of Sales Representatives (SRs) to ensure the successful execution of Sales strategies and plans in a geographically defined area.

You will also be responsible in providing a high level of merchandising to all strategic accounts within the area and ensuring the planning process secures PMAL dominance to achieve optimum visibility. Key accountabilities :

  • Lead and motivate the SRs by clearly communicating objectives, responsibilities, and expectations to ensure efficient Cycle Plan implementation and sustainable delivery of agreed targets.
  • Constantly evaluate and adjust objectives to improve effectiveness of the team performance by providing practical and product trainings (in class and field) to SRs for continuous development.

  • Design and adjust territory routes aim to achieve high quality service at an acceptable distribution cost.
  • Ensure appropriate workload are assigned to each teammate when shuffling SRs’ schedules to maximize individual’s performance.

  • Maintain close relationships with strategic retail customers directly and retail trade via SRs, identify potential business opportunities and customers to execute agreed objectives and product availability respectively.
  • Select and build an excellent merchandising General Trade platform at the responsible district for mass communication channel for our adult smokers.
  • Compile contract terms in all merchandising placements fulfilling consumer segmentation and cost efficiency.

  • Utilize resources and optimize outlets’ performances to achieve synergy by closely monitoring the evolution of PM brands, coordinating with Sales & Marketing teams on the sales cycle activities implementation.
  • Coordinate with Sales teammates to implement trade tools and consumer programs for achieving numeric and weighted coverage, availability and visibility objectives.
  • Closely work with Marketing team on aligned brand activities at POS and perform in due time with company standard.

  • Monitor and analyze stock allocation regularly by conducting store check visits and field audits to take measures and lead the team with appropriate actions.
  • Coordinate closely with Supply Chain team on daily stock issuance, LOGD and Product-related issues, etc.

    Review and provide recommendations on trade speculations, product depletion exercises, stock loading & reconciliation processes.

  • Consolidate various strategic, analytical & KPI reports to Regional Sales Managers to identify areas of improvements and business opportunities to increase PM sales and achieve market share targets.
  • Uphold corporate integrity and values, ensuring all activities comply with PMI policies and procedures, including Sales Force Operating Policies and Procedures, local and federal laws and International Marketing Code. Requirements for the role :
  • University graduate with a degree preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or other related discipline.
  • 5-7 years relevant working experience with 2 years of supervisory experience, FMCG industry will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical acumen and good social skills to influence all partners to execute as per brand objectives.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent command of English and Cantonese, both spoken and written.
  • Good learning attitude and strong result and quality driven mindset.
