The Technological and Higher Education Institute (THEi) offers over 20 innovative degree programmes that are vocationally oriented and developed with significant industry input through three faculties -
Faculty of Design and Environment, Faculty of Management and Hospitality, and Faculty of Science and Technology. All the programmes are accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, and most are also accredited by the relevant professional bodies.
At present, seven programmes are in the Government’s Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP), which provides subsidies to students varying from $40,000 to $70,000 per year.

Faculty of Science and Technology upholds the vocationally-oriented approach emphasizing internship opportunities for students to gain a competitive edge, with a balance of professional knowledge and practical knowledge.
Employment Period : 12 months

Applicants should have a recognised sub-degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Chemical or Biological Sciences or related disciplines.
Applicants should have good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, as well as good administrative, interpersonal and communication skills.
He / she should have a strong sense of responsibility, good organizational skills, good work initiative and an ability to work independently.
Those with working knowledge of Mass spectroscopy, microbial culture and SPSS would have an advantage.
1) Candidates may be appointed on part-time or temporary terms of employment.
2) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays.
3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
