About this role

Overview of Responsibilities

The individual will be responsible for supporting the month-end close and the design and implementation of controls within corporate accounting and financial reporting processes across Asia-Pacific, reporting to the Head of APAC Corporate Control.

The candidate will also be partnering with global and regional teams on various accounting and strategic projects and initiatives.

The role requires an individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities :

Assist with monthly review of balance sheet account reconciliations for APAC entities

Assist in the identification and implementation of various process improvements within APAC Controllers Group for enhanced internal controls and greater efficiencies

Assist in the development and implementation of accounting control and process document

Assist with oversight of legal entity rationalization

Provide support to stakeholders on internal systems and processes

Coordinate and facilitate regional all-hands, training and other forums

Provide support on various global and regional projects and strategic initiatives (incl. M&A)

Experience & skills :

2-3 years of experience, preferably in financial services industry

Graduate or Postgraduate in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field

Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills with project management experience preferred

Strong knowledge of internal controls

Ability to manage multiple priorities, establish and adhere to a work plan / program and operate in a deadline driven environment.

Positive attitude & willingness to continuously learn.

Self-starter that can also work in a collaborative environment
