Currently we are looking for a capable and independent individual for the following position as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities :
Have daily site walk at the construction site and provide site observations
Attend routine inspection of site works independently and check works compliance against specification requirement, drawings, approved method statements and report to RSIOW / site engineers for any observations
Support RSIOW / Electrical / Mechanical Engineers on certain aspects of supervision and quality check of E&M & Building Services works within the contract
Support the checking of the interfacing with Civil / Structural works.
Participate in SSEMC, SSEC, and construction meetings
Maintain site diary and records
Qualifications & Experience required :
Diploma or Higher Certificate from Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong / Hong Kong Institute of Construction / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / Technical Institute / Technical College / Polytechnic University / Polytechnic in Hong Kong or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Building Services
At least 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience or at least 5 years of relevant experience as Resident Assistant Inspector of Works or equivalent
Good understanding of the construction works and provide assistance to the RSIOW / Engineers / Project Manager on all aspects of supervision of E&M works on site within the contract
Able to work under demanding environment and tight programme
May have irregular working hours and the actual arrangement will be determined by their supervisors
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
Candidates immediately available will be preferred
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Resident Assistant Inspector of Works.
This position will be on a contract basis to work at a development site in North New Territories for 12 months, which may be lengthened or shortened subject to project development.
Standard working hours will be 6 days per week. Attractive remuneration package with gratuity will be offered to the successful candidates.
