Job Description :

Our client, , is now looking for IT Support join within their team.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Report duty at production site or backup site,

Perform system administration and housekeeping tasks,

Manage testing environments to support user acceptance test activities,

Perform system monitoring and tuning when necessary,

Handle system incidents and troubleshoot technical problems,

Conduct impact analysis of the system change request,

Implement system change according to approved change request,

Review and conduct disaster recovery drill,

Maintain up-to-date documentation,

Assist in patch review and deployment,

Generate regular system reports and statistics,

Work with application team to support application processes, and

Liaise with vendors for projects and technical services.

Requirements on the On-site Support Staff

Tertiary education in Computer Science or related discipline,

Minimum 3-year experience in Oracle database administration and handson

experience in Oracle PL / SQL ,

Minimum 3-year experience in server administration in various platforms

Microsoft Windows Server, Solaris and Linux),

Experience in database installation, configuration and administration for

Oracle 11g and 12c ,

Knowledge in network management (e.g. WAN / LAN and Firewall),

domain name service (e.g. BIND 9), data backup (Arcserve / Backup

Exec), server virtualization (e.g. VMWare) and data storage management

e.g. NetApp SAN storage) (preferable),

Self-initiative, creative and innovative with analytical, problem solving,

communication and interpersonal skills,

Good English writing skills, and

Fluent in spoken English and Cantonese.
