What You'll Bring :

Proven ability to drive highly effective team collaboration. Experience of operating in a matrix structure

5+ years in compliance, governance, assurance environment or a proven business operational improvement role that have enabled success with the ability to manage people.

Financial Services / Credit Bureau industry experience an advantage

Certification in IAPP will be an advantage but not a must

Focused, ambitious self-starter who exhibits attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

Eagerness to learn with the ability to work with complexity

A team player capable of working within a collaborative environment

Ability to interact with and influence senior management

Ability to lead, develop and create a high performance team

Proven ability to communicate to multiple audiences in written, verbal and presentation format

Proven ability to influence others to gain acceptance of difficult or innovative ideas or concepts

Good written and spoken English and Chinese (preferred)

Impact You'll Make :

Perform internal data privacy compliance reviews including on Code of Practice on Consumer Credit Data and Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance

To oversee the organisations' compliance with the Ordinance and implementation of Privacy Management Program(PMP)

Follow up and conduct internal review on Business Continuity Plan (BCP) process

To carry out training and education and promoting staff awareness on privacy protection by circulating updates on data privacy policies, guidelines and other privacy-related information.

To coordinate and monitor the handling of data breach incidents; providing advice to departments on conducting investigations and working closely with the key stakeholders.

To provide advice to and conduct review on departments' data processor management

To report to the top management periodically on the compliance issues, problems encountered and complaints received in relation to personal data privacy

Work collaboratively with all Senior Leadership team and Head of compliance in the execution of Privacy Management Program.

Ensure that the delivery approach always considers all regulatory and compliance requirements through the implementation of internal measures and adequate systems to process requests for information and access

Ensure privacy information impact assessments are done to confirm that adequate measures and standards exist and are maintained.

Work closely with the Head of Stakeholder Management on the timeous resolution of investigations as well as preparing, submitting and maintaining notifications to the Regulator.

Ensure proper data breach and security incident management by Company including the latter’s preparation and submission to the Commission of reports and other documentation concerning security incidents or data breaches within the prescribed period;

Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Company that will further the interest of data privacy and security and uphold the rights of the data subjects.
