Manage and oversee all IT Operation Change for the whole organization Assess all IT change activities information including but not limited to impact, associated risk, prioritization, implementation plan and test plan Handle and coordinate emergency change in timely manner Adopt and review IT operation standard and guidelines to fulfil business and organization requirement Act as backup, or chance to rotate, to support other service management processes such as incident, problem, release management and IT operation tasks On call and respond to emergency issues or planned activities during non-office hours Manage vendors and monitor SLA Liaise among service provider, business and internal IT for annual ITDR drill.
Follow up on agreed action items for continuous improvement Assist in IT capacity planning & system performance monitoring as per established process The Person Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines 8 years+ of experience in supporting IT infrastructure, in which 2 years are involved in IT operation role.
Applicants with less experience may be considered as Analyst post. Experience working in financial institution or large corporate is a plus Possess can-do attitude to facilitate ad-hoc change and requirement Track record of setting up IT operation processes, familiar with IT process framework like ITIL Experience with incident, problem, change and release management for application and infrastructure services, and / or IT helpdesk & desktop support services Strong coordination, communication and multitasking skills, able to communicate effectively with all relevant parties at different levels Has sound knowledge in different aspects of infrastructure including server, network, storage, middleware, desktop, cloud, etc.
Able to develop strong understanding of the application systems. Prior software development experience is desirable Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to effectively tailor communication of technical issues to various audiences
