Monitor on-going high volume manufacturing test.
Advocate LEAN manufacturing and Zero Defect initiatives by supporting continuous improvement of manufacturing test processes and helping to ensure product quality as well as increased production throughput.
This includes improvements to process and production efficiency and Manufacturing Cycle Efficiency.
Advocate the use of statistical and modern manufacturing methods including but not limited to SPC, and ANOVA studies.
Interface with Equipment and Product Engineering to troubleshoot RF test problems, reduce test variation, and reduce test time.
Aid in the qualification of test solutions for new products at off-shore test facilities.
Prepare and publish standard reports (correlation reports, qualification reports, or others).
BS Electrical Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years experience in the areas listed below
are required. Other education or experience will be considered depending on applicability.
Ability to work independently.
Proven problem solving skills.
Experience in or understanding of automated RF test systems.
Ability to perform basic RF measurements using bench top equipment including Spectrum analyzers, power meters and Network Analyzers.
Abitity to focus on details of projects to drive complete and appropriate solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to write and maintain detailed process specifications.
Strong interest in statistical methods to include SPC and ANOVA studies.
Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, Spotfire or equivalent experience a plus.
Proficient at MS Office applications.
Programming skills in C++, or Perl a plus.
Availability for international travel.
