As a Practice Area Lead, you will be pro-actively approaching leading legal practitioners in daily operations, and be a professional marketing facing subject matter expert.
Responsible for the acquisition of legal content from top-notch legal practitioners, including existing authors and commissioning new legal writers at partner level.
You will be contribute to content strategies and content development planning with strong legal market and business sense.
Main roles and responsibilities :
Identify and commission top-notch legal practitioners from international law firms and Chambers across different practice areas to maintain high-quality content
Manage and maintain a close working relationship with existing authors to ensure a timely delivery of content and acquisition
Perform as a Subject Matter Expert on the target practice area and content development, to lead and own the project
Identify and maintain record of key parties of interest; Succession planning of Authors
Demonstrate and articulate subject matter expertise in the practice area relevant to portfolio
Conduct legal research on a continuous manner to keep abreast of legal developments within target practice area
Identify and track core subscriber base for practice area
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams on content marketing
Assist in developing product enhancements and product roadmaps
Work with Strategy team to ensure alignment of activity to overarching business strategy
LLB, JD or legal / compliance related qualification(s)
Demonstrated practical legal knowledge and understanding of legal markets
Experience in product development would be advantageous
Excellent communication skills and people skills
Strong in legal research and familiar with the legal field
Passion for winning ability to devise, drive and deliver content strategy
