Job Description :

In alignment with the Digital Enterprise (DE) strategic focus, the position of Head of Distribution Excellence, Asia will actively lead MRA 2.

0 to achieve Distribution Excellence and Client for Life. The incumbent will influence the country leadership team, develops regional distribution priorities and leads MRA 2.

0 for scalable roll-out and distribution expansion. The Head of Distribution Excellence, Asia will report to the Asia Chief Distribution Officer, Asia.

Major Accountabilities

  • Drives MRA 2.0 strategic priority, both on the vision and execution aspects and leads the MRA 2.0 for scalable rollout across Asia
  • Collaborates closely with the Advisor Platform, Digital and IT team to champion the development of the industry-lead Digital and Advisor (DnA) platform and other distribution related digital assets;
  • consistently leverage and replicate the application across markets to co-deliver the DE ambitions and distribution excellence scorecard / OKR

  • Actively leads digital and social media initiatives to increase distribution reach and expansion, embraces data analytics to drive proactive, predictive and personalized sales and client servicing opportunities, and makes Sun Life Asia a key player in optimizing AI based activities and social media platform to achieve distribution growth and create differentiation
  • Be an active and valuable distribution think tank to the country leadership team on development and execution of the distribution strategies and trends;
  • drives agreed distribution strategies and champions robust changes on distribution alignment

  • Develops and leverages on the distribution learning, improvement and adoption to achieve the agreed results, actively identifies areas of improvement and leads appropriate management changes and cultural alignment.
  • Consistently evaluates and uplifts capability of the resources and competencies to drive Distribution Excellence

  • Deep knowledge in advisor world and client journey
  • Deep experience in multi-distribution channels and digital trends
  • Good knowledge in change management, deliverables and adoption
  • Good knowledge in Life Insurance, Health & Wealth products and market dynamics
  • Strong financial awareness in sales performance and financial metrics
  • Ability to make strategic and decisive decisions
  • Ability to work comfortably with senior management team to lead change and drive intended results
  • Takes accountability and drives for action
  • Strong Leadership skills manage multi-tasks and stakeholders in a fast moving work environment
  • Collaborates effectively with stakeholders and communicates confidently

  • Qualifications

  • Degree holder or above, more than 10 years of extensive experience with leadership role in distribution management or business development with solid track record in delivering results
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and possess in-depth industry and digital knowledge to drive distribution excellence, promote digital transformation and adoption
  • Solid understanding of the business context, key industry trends and competitor landscape
  • Strong business sense and good analytic ability to clearly define solutions
  • Work under pressure, ability to make things happen through agile approach and effective resource allocation
  • Formal change management framework is an added advantage
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese and PC literate
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
