Support the ongoing evolution of the Responsible Investment activities, identifying gaps and recommendations to close them
Identifying opportunities, doing research, formulating policy and establishing Prudential as a thought leader around inclusive transition, sustainable investment and financing the transition
Supporting the internal and external communication on Prudential’s view on the just and inclusive transition
Producing papers on Prudential’s markets on Environmental Social Governance (ESG) (e.g. Vietnam, Indonesia), covering : key ESG risks and opportunities within the market, key barriers for sustainable development, key barriers for scaling sustainable investments and actions which Prudential can take to accelerate sustainable investments within this market and which fit Prudential’s investment strategy within that market
Supporting alignment on Responsible Investment across the organization, for example through work on sectoral climate views
Monitoring the latest Responsible Investment activities in the market, and analysing and forming an opinion on these
Supporting and connecting local investment teams on investment solutions to grow the sustainable investments market within the countries in which Prudential operates.
Job Requirements :
Experience in investments through work experience or education and understanding of the investment process for an institutional investor / asset owner
CFA, CISI or other related investment qualification is beneficial but not a key requirement
Knowledge of Responsible Investment topics and the evolving ESG landscape, and ideally a strong personal interest in this area
Ability to analyze investment portfolio data
Ability to deliver high-quality material at speed and under pressure
Ability to build strong internal networks and establish productive relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
