Lead a team of project managers to realize program benefits to the business
Be responsible for resourcing and assign projects effectively based on people and location strategy
Understand the technology roadmap, regulatory requirements, risks and benefits to prioritize projects within the program
Align with infrastructure delivery teams in project priorities
Anticipate and remove program impediments in advance to assure timely delivery of Digital projects
Work with regional heads of business to forecast and manage the demand and supply of people and technical resources
Enforce project governance in terms of financing, cost, schedule, risk handling and reporting
Implement change control and promote best practice in project or infrastructure releases on mission critical, customer facing systems
Measure and track delivery milestones of individual projects and help the team to resolve issues accordingly
Proactively react to emerging threats or compliance issues on regional basis
Negotiate with project teams the revised cost and schedule given emerging requirements or change in scope
Coach the team in adopting agile project methodologies in a matrix organization structure, drive excellence in agile planning
Manage and mitigate escalations, propagate if necessary
Promote DevOps ways of working by lining up users, architecture, engineering, operations teams and project managers in early project stage to mitigate project risks
Understand and feedback emerging business and use cases to drive innovation within Digital infrastructure
Degree or post graduate degree in Computer Science, Business or an IT related field
A track record of overseeing the delivery of multiple, large scale, complex infrastructure projects
Extensive experience in an IT leadership role in a development or operations environment, with in depth specialization in project delivery and program management
Able to align program objectives to business strategy and departmental goals
Experienced in Agile project management and DevOps
Knowledge in cloud technologies, CI or CD, automation and infrastructure as code is a plus
Banking and Digital experience is a plus
Project management related qualification such as PMP, Prince2, Certified Scrum Master or SAFe is an advantage
Passionate about delivering value to customers
Proven technical expertise in an IT role
Good knowledge of crisis response and recovery
Track record of successful staff management and motivation
Internationalist and familiarity with foreign environments
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Highly adaptable and ability to approach things differently
Strong leadership and management ability, motivating the team
Established financial and accounting acumen
Be able to budget, track and control project expenditure
Proven ability to prioritize competing demands;
Demonstrated ability to assess IT trends and understand complex business requirements
A high level of commitment and self motivation, together with an ability to deal with stressful environments
Understand the global strategies of the Group and collaborates with the business at a global level to accomplish these strategies
Demonstrated commercial awareness and knowledge of the bank's business
Formal written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to formulate and articulate the case for IT investments and alternatives in the language of business
Have an excellent knowledge of the means of bringing a project to successful and rapid conclusion
