Overview

To provide general Human Resources support to the APAC region in the areas of employee relations, employee engagement, compliance and regulatory matters under the direction of the Senior Manager Employee Relations and Workforce Solutions, HDQ.

Will provide recommendations on policy and legal updates to HDQ and maintain APAC in compliance with country and local labor law requirements.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations that might affect the organization's policies. In partnership with the Sr Mgr ER & WF Solutions, partner with the other HR Service Centers to deliver on organizational and employee initiatives / concerns.

Responsibilities

Provide APAC Human Resources generalist support, primarily in the employee relations and compliance functions of HR. Partners and consults with management and provide HR guidance when appropriate.

Partner with Sr Mgr ER & WF Solutions and conduct employee investigations to ensure thorough understanding of issues. Document and counsel employees on performance, behavioral matters that arise, in coordination with Sr Mgr ER & WF.

Conducts exit interview for departing employees and updating exit interview log. Ensures that APAC region has appropriate compliance posters and notifications posted in appropriate places.

Identify training opportunities and provide recommendations to Sr Mgr ER & WF Solutions based on patterns of incidents aligned to progressive discipline Provides updates to the employee relations log.

In partnership with Sr Mgr ER and WF Solutions works with HRIS and HR Service Centers in reporting metric-based data to provide both HR and Operations with opportunities to meet or enhance compliance measures.

Continually assesses and provides recommendations of policy updates to Senior Manager, ER & WF Solutions on local policies, in accordance with local / country legal regulatory requirements.

This would include HR forms such as job applications and position descriptions. Oversees the local background check vendors and process, where applicable.

In partnership with Sr Mgr ER & WF Solutions work with legal and payroll to communicate proper wage and hour laws to HDQ HR and appropriate employees.

Partners with Legal and other HR Service Centers with regards to employee matters and employee / HR initiatives. A resource for employee questions on other HR items such as Staffing, Benefits and Compensation.

Qualifications

BA / BS in HR or related field required Master’s degree preferred SCP / SPHR certification preferred 5 7 years’ of demonstrated Human Resources experience, resolving complex issues with knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Skilled working effectively with mid-

level to senior members of the organization Must be a self-starter. Demonstrated experience building relationships and influencing others across a geographically-

dispersed, complex environment. Experience as a detailed and results-oriented professional to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered and meeting deadlines in a dynamic work environment Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization Exhibited fact driven problem solving skills required May required travel 10% of the time (varies by assignment)
