Responsibilities
Creating larger, scalable and transactional websites and applications
Propose technical solution options to a specific user requirement
Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code
Participate in thoughtful code reviews
Ensure smooth implementation and delivery of the projects
Troubleshoot issues for production applications
Keep up to date with advances in technology and promote the related best practices at theOrigo
Help strengthen our team by passing on your craftsmanship through close collaboration, knowledge shares, and mentorship
Be innovative on creating outstanding websites and features
Requirements
Degree or High Diploma in computer science, IT, engineering or relevant fields of study
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in web development or backend development
Fluency with one or more server-side languages, such as PHP, Node.js, or Java to develop websites, applications, and APIs
Expert knowledge of Git and related branching strategies
Familiarity with working in Linux and docker / container environments
Solid grasp of the principles, patterns, and practice of software design
Working knowledge of testing tools for load test and security testing
Attentive to detail and committed to quality
Clear and concise written and oral communication, both internally and with our clients
Good organizational skills, problem solving ability
Good command in interpersonal / communication skills
