This is how we shape a better world. Currently we are looking for a capable and independent individual for the following position as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop health & safety plans, associated procedures and guidelines for sites
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual and company health & safety requirements
  • Plan, implement, supervise and monitor the health and safety programmes and performance
  • Conduct regular health & safety audits and inspections for office and sites to identify areas of improvement, develop and implement appropriate actions according to the required standards
  • Handle incidents and investigations, provide recommendations for improvement and determine the root causes
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential risks
  • Provide specialized advice and technical support in health & safety functions
  • Provide health & safety related trainings
  • Keep up to date with relevant health & safety related work legislations and communicate the changes
  • Occasional business travel is required
  • Qualifications & Experience required :

  • Degree in Engineering, Health & Safety Management or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of experience in safety inspection / auditing for construction & building projects under construction industry
  • Membership of relevant professional institution such as Registered Safety Officer (RSO) or Registered Safety Auditor (RSA) of Labour Department
  • Familiar with safety regulations and ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001 audits
  • Proficient in PC skills including MS Office and SharePoint
  • Self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
  • Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Manager Health & Safety.
