Scope :

Collaborate closely with Leadership & Learning Team and People Team colleagues to execute global L&L strategy and programmes across APAC.

Reports to :

Associate Director of Leadership & Learning, APAC (Based in HK)

Geography Coverage and Travel :

Based in Hong Kong, responsible for : Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei and Seoul

Key Duties

  • Collaborate closely with Leadership & Learning (L&L) Team Members and other colleagues to execute the global L&L strategy and act as the designer and trainer for L&L programmes.
  • Consult with key stakeholders in APAC offices and with People Team colleagues to crystalise learning needs.
  • Design and deliver training solutions to support Lawyers and PBS colleagues to perform at the highest quality and standards as reflected in the strategy, The New Lawyers principles and in the Development Frameworks for Lawyers and PBS.
  • Present in and lead the management of the logistics, communication and content design / development for regional F2F careers milestone programmes such as AP Mid-Level Associates Meeting (APMAM) and AP Senior Associates Meeting (APSAM).
  • Ensure attendance and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) records tracked and are in full compliance with Firm and local jurisdiction requirements.
  • Education and Experience :

  • University Degree required L&D, Talent Management, legal or business degrees accepted.
  • 7 10 years working experience.
  • MNC working experience essential.
  • Law firm or professional services industry experience essential.
  • Technical legal knowledge and practicing experience desired, but not necessary.
  • Experience in studying or working abroad highly desired.
  • Languages :

    Must have excellent written and spoken skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.

  • Presentation : excellent presentation skills in English and Mandarin for training delivery essential
  • Technical : Familiar with the classic ADDIE model, but can also focus on being innovative and adaptable to today’s learners (e.
  • g. social media, mobile learning)

  • Intellect : ability to crystalise complex problems, identify options and recommend actions
