We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a GCP Product Manager .

Principal Responsibilities

  • Engagement with the GB / GF cloud leads to understand needs and forecasts
  • Engagement with Google to progress product questions, issues and help drive their roadmap
  • Work with Security Architecture to ensure all products are properly security reviewed
  • Work with our Architecture team to ensure all products are properly architected
  • Develop, maintain and prioritise the roadmap of GCP product improvements
  • Work with our DevOps team to ensure all GCP products are operationalised
  • Ensure our catalogue, EIM and confluence pages are up-to-date with product status
  • Contribute to all customer facing information and knowledge bases
  • Create reports to provide an understanding of GCP product usage
  • Develop and encourage communities to help accelerate adoption, improve communication
  • Identify, document and optimise Customer Journeys for GCP platform and services
  • Requirements

  • Experience in Product Management
  • Experience in dealing with service providers (ideally Cloud)
  • Experience in dealing with multiple support groups that contribute to creating a service
  • Have worked in an enterprise Financial Services company
  • Customer / stakeholder focus. Ability to build strong relationships with Application teams, cross functional IT and global / local IT teams
  • An understanding of Operational functions (E.g. IAM, logging, monitoring, capacity, scalability)
  • Good leadership and teamwork skills - Works collaboratively in an agile environment with Stakeholders to deliver the service.
  • Operational effectiveness - delivers solutions that align to approved design patterns and security standards
  • Risk management effectiveness
  • A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
  • Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
  • An understanding of data management techniques and regulatory impacts on data residency
