Manage the daily operation of the health information and medical records services.
Assist in planning the health information and records services and liaise with other departments and hospitals on areas related to health information and records management.
Ensure all aspects of security, safety and confidentiality within the health information and records services.
Ensure the quality of coding under International Classification of Disease.
Conduct clinical coding audits / review and compile clinical coding audit reports for quality improvement.
Educate and work with clinical staff for accurate coding.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Entry Requirements :
1. A degree from a local university, or equivalent.
Preferred Attributes :
A degree / postgraduate diploma / higher degree in Health Information Management or a higher degree in Health Care Management specializing in Health Information Management.
Knowledge of clinical coding, medical terminology and health care / hospital statistics.
Experience in medical records and health information services.
Good communication skills and to handle public enquiries and complaints
