Role Proficiency :

A hands-on Agile Coach responsible for driving the adoption and organizational transformation of Agile across multiple teams organized into tribes.

Responsibilities include coaching of tribe design portfolio planning and other agile at scale ceremonies artefacts processes and practices.

Outcomes :

  • Coaches at program scale; designs and launches programs. (Independently in the majority of instances) Work with Program Leadership to adopt scaling structures so teams are aligned towards achievable shared outcomes.
  • Structures should include : PO Escalation / Issue resolution and Inspect / Adapt processes.

    Measures of Outcomes :

  • Customer Satisfaction Target Vs Actual as established by account management
  • Percent of growth at Client Account as determined by account management teamsa. Number of opportunities identified to grow revenue b.
  • Number of hiring new UST associates hired and onboarded

  • Supporting UST in Market - UST Brand - number of events attended and networks established as well as the impact created from those events and networks
  • Professional Development and Learning. Number of certifications gained / maintained as designated critical by account management

  • Engage with Agile teams and coach them through a journey of Agile adoption over 1-3 months. Take immature Agile teams and teach the skills and practices to develop self-sufficiency and maturity.
  • Hands-on coaching and teaching new teams - including how to perform key Agile ceremonies such as planning sessions and daily stand-ups.
  • as well as how to effectively utilize Agile artefacts such as product backlogs

  • Identify and raise challenges and obstacles

  • Competent at presenting two alternatives to open discussion in multiple contexts (e.g. structured go-arounds individual writing listing ideas dialogue in pairs or small groups etc.

  • Are courageous and will be comfortable challenging, advising, and coaching Product Owners, Pilot Leads and Senior Leadership Certifications : Relevant Agile advanced certifications through Scrum Alliance, Scrum.
