General Description :
The Sourcing Executive will be responsible for global development and management of the supply base for assigned commodities through sustainable supply and cost reduction achieved through supplier selection and management to best suit Belkin and our customers' needs.
You will support the Global Sourcing team on any ad-hoc projects based on business needs.
Executive the Global Sourcing strategies for the assigned product categories to ensure business requirements are met by maximizing the leverage on Belkin’s Best-In-Class Approved Vendor List.
Responsible for managing supply contracts and negotiate business terms, i.e. NDA, price setting, payment terms, supply flexibility, liability clauses, to support the Company’s best interest.
Lead our Supplier’s Account team through regular Supplier Audits and drive process improvement through collaboration with Global Sourcing, Program Management and other key stakeholders.
Partner closely with Global Sourcing, Purchasing and Product Management to develop sourcing strategies for the assigned business unit and identify viable and world-class suppliers that can deliver customized supply solutions.
Manages Bill of Materials data collection and benchmarks the cost of the assigned product categories on regular basis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Communicate and assure compliance with the Company’s sourcing requirements in compliance with the Belkin’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Values.
Identify new suppliers to support Belkin’s new product roadmap. Act as the liaison among Global Sourcing, Global Planner, SQA and Product Management to resolve business issues.
Conduct open and regular communications with Global Product Management, Global Planner , SQA, ME and Global Sourcing team to meet the assigned goals and objectives.
Education and Qualification Requirements :
A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience in the relevant sourcing / merchandizing experience for either Tablet & Smart phone cases / screen protector / small leather goods / functional bags merchandising or electronics / electronics / battery consumer goods gained from either an international buying offices or a multinational company.
Degree / Diploma acquired from reputable University or Tertiary Institution.
Track record in purchasing or commodity management experience is required. Supply chain experience and understanding of related technologies, industries and market trends are plus.
Entrepreneurial spirit with in depth knowledge on Strategic Cost Management and a track record in implementing and maintaining high value sourcing strategies
Ability to multi-task and find balance between strategic thinking and operational activities.
Experience in Outsourced Design and Manufacturing (ODM) project management is preferred.
Strong verbal, written communication and excellent presentation skills · Excellent negotiation skills & vendor relationship management, Cross-functional leadership, inter-personal & analytical skills
Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required. Any other Asian language would be an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
Willing to travel (including overseas), and sometimes on short notice based on business needs.
