Job Responsibilities :

To lead and manage a sub-team in processing listing applications of debt securities and regulating Listing Rules compliance, including reviewing listing documents, carrying out post listing monitoring of issuers’ compliance with rules and guidelines

To assist in policy development in the listed debt regime and ad hoc projects including market consultation and review of Listing Rules

To conduct research of regulatory and market development in overseas jurisdictions

To take a pro-active role in supporting the team’s operational enhancement initiatives

To provide legal and other professional support to the work of the Listing Department, particularly with respect to the review of novel legal and commercial issues

Requirements :

Qualified lawyers with a minimum of 6 years post qualification experience

Solid experience in debt securities issuances in Hong Kong and / or overseas

Strong market knowledge in practices, regulations and operation of the debt capital market in Hong Kong and overseas

Self-motivated, detail oriented and good interpersonal skills

Knowledge of the Exchange’s Listing Rules is a plus

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is essential
