Equity Derivatives Sales

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationship with existing clients
  • Expand client base and originate new client relationships with a strategic and long-term view
  • Execute equity derivative client transactions, in adherence with the Bank’s policies and guidelines
  • Provide market colour, sales commentary and research to clients
  • Provide feedback on client activity to internal stakeholders (mainly Trading, Sales Trading)
  • Collaborate with support functions
  • Suggest ideas to enable cost efficiencies, reduction of operational risk, and scalability of the activity
  • Monitor markets and competitors to identify trends and opportunities
  • Report on performance and potential issues to direct management, and more generally support management as and when required
  • Job Specifications

    Qualification & Experience

  • Master degree
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the Equity Derivatives Structured product industry
  • Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, confident, excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Reliable and trustable
  • Language

  • Fluent in English and Chinese
  • Other Skills (e.g. Interpersonal, Communication etc)

  • Customer-oriented
  • Able to work in a multi-functional and cross-cultural environment
