  • The primary role will be day to day support for the Prime Delta1 desk, with opportunities to learn the trade assistant role in the following areas;
  • Provide timely & accurate service to both internal and external clients
  • Booking swap trades and interaction with clients.
  • Production of the trade management exception report to clients.
  • Counterparty queries management and improving / automating processes.
  • Investigation and resolution of breaks.
  • Daily interaction and primary support contact for trader assistants
  • Working with IT, Asset Serving, Front Office Traders, TA’s, PC, CSRs and clients on ad hoc queries
  • Production of ad hoc reports for Front office traders
  • Production of the weekly / monthly metrics schedule to PC, FO, Management.

    Essential :

  • Knowledge of Equity Swaps or Prime Services
  • Knowledge of derivative trade process flows from booking to settlement, the roles groups take on and how the different groups involved interact to process the business
  • MBA Finance / Engineer / CFA / FRM with 5-8 years of proven work experience in a similar role in a global bank.
  • Desirable

  • Knowledge of trade processing.
  • Knowledge of Asset Servicing functions including Corporate Action.
  • Reconciliation experience in a high volume environment with evidence of developed investigation skills
  • Outstanding numerical skills
  • Good Excel skills
  • Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking who can work on own initiative under pressure and can deliver on time with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
