In line with the Maison Retail, SDP and VM global strategy, and according to the environment and clientele evolution, he / she ensures the evolution of the Travel Retail concept and ensures its consistent roll out across the network (worldwide).
He / she organizes, manage and control the planned and reactive roll out, maintenance of the boutique and POS, to ensure the most suitable environment for the employees and customers.
The position includes travelling to visit and monitor prospected locations, actively participate to the boutique briefs, ongoing construction projects and existing stores (worldwide).
Member of the Global Travel Retail Executive Committee, the Travel Retail Signature projects Director works transversally with other ExCo members as well as Central teams.
Travel Retail Concept Development & Evolution
Develop in-depth knowledge of travelers’ shopping habits in TR environments
Competition watch : identify successful and most innovative Travel Retail concepts developed by competition (Fashion & Accessories and Watch & Jewelry)
Travel industry insights & evolution
Define boutique briefs for new projects, based on : Client mix (nationality, travel behaviors, destinations, purchasing habits, demographics, ) Environment specificities (airport, downtown galleria, cruise) and constraints Country / Location specificities (sense of place) Target sales mix
Enhance the concept together with SDP Paris
Optimize Boutique Opening Project Management & Network Enhancement
Optimize lead-time : Discuss planning with all parties involved and ensure it is shared by all parties
Help SDP local & Central to understand the Airport constraints while liaising with AA and Partners
Clarify Travel Retail concept with shared guidelines agreed with SDP Paris (External façade, furniture, color tones) to speed up conception phase
Optimize network with maintenance recommendation
Develop Corporate Project
In charge of the concept, design and development of the Cartier presence at TFWA ( 2 events per year : Singapore and Cannes)
TRA - Visual Merchandising
Manage Visual Merchandising Coordinator for Travel Retail Asia boutiques & POS
Work in collaboration with the local team to ensure consistency of the image across network
PROFILE & REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Education : Master’s degree (Art, Marketing, Fashion, Luxury)
Professional Experience : 12-18 years’ experience in Retail, and / or in Visual Merchandising Management or SDP project Management, with significant experience in luxury.
Having worked in Travel Retail Industry is a plus.
